Velvet Eden's Etiquette Guidelines
The rules our DM's work by
-
Dungeon Monitors can be identified by their ‘Dungeon Monitor’ badge.
-
Compliance to a Dungeon Monitor’s request is OBLIGATORY. Failure to comply may result in your removal from the club. If you disagree with any decision please approach one of the event organisers calmly at an appropriate time.
-
Give people space. In general it is INAPPROPRIATE to be closer than SIX FEET from a scene in progress.
-
DO NOT interrupt people who are playing without express prior permission, and this includes the aftercare phase of play. PLEASE NOTE It is NOT appropriate to attempt to join a scene once it is in progress.
-
DO NOT criticize people's appearance or play, keep it to yourself. If you have concerns about a particular scene or person, please contact a Dungeon Monitor.
-
No ‘sharps’. This includes blades, needles etc. These may only be brought into the club or used in a scene with the event organisers express prior permission.
-
NO BLOOD PLAY. If you break the skin whilst playing you must stop and dress the wound before continuing.
-
NO water sports or scat.
-
NO wax play without a DROP CLOTH. (If you forget yours just ask. We have spares!)
-
It is NOT considered APPROPRIATE to engage in power exchanges (Domming/Subbing) without prior permission. 'Dominants' and 'submissives' are 'people' first!)
-
Look but don't gawk. This is NOT a live sex show. DO NOT loiter in entrances/exits.
-
Some areas of the club are reserved for those involved in a scene ONLY. Signs will be posted to advise you where an area is ‘PLAYERS ONLY’
-
Clean up after yourself so other people can use the kit/area. Seek out orange buckets which will contain cleaning supplies!
-
It IS NOT appropriate to touch another person and or their property/toys without obtaining their prior permission.
-
If you are planning a scene that may appear to be non-consensual, edge play or a mindfuck etc. clear it with the dungeon monitors first.
-
The ‘Club’ safe word is ‘RED’. If a safe word is not specified in your scene, or you forgot yours, "RED" is considered a universal safe word. All DM’s will respond to this safe word.
-
No drugs other than prescription medication are permitted on the premises.
-
Please try to restrict elaborate scenes to the appropriate 'play' areas and not designated seating/chilling areas
